Founders

Bill J. Bonnstetter and his son, Dave Bonnstetter, founded Target Training International in 1984. Bill is Chairman of the Board, while Dave is CEO of Success Insights, Inc., the international distribution division of Target Training International.

Bill has done enormous research and advanced the science of behavior, values and personal talent, while the software programs authored by Dave transform Bill’s knowledge into a compatible tool for today’s workplace. Combining the skills and efforts of father and son, the two have created over 30 personal development and self-management programs to help maximize the potential of individuals in the workforce. These assessments stand as the most reliable and valid assessments in the marketplace and are used by over 5 million people worldwide for personal and professional development and effectiveness.

Ashley Bowers, president of Target Training International, has been an integral part of the company’s success for 12 years. Ashley has led team efforts in product development, new web applications and the launch of the company’s staffing division. TTI is continually leading the assessment industry and has been the first to make major achievements and advancements.

  • Bill Bonnstetter, co-founder of TTI, was the first to correlate the decision making of people based on the appearance of their farmstead. (1980)
  • TTI was the first to develop and introduce computerized and personalized reports based on the four-dimensional behavior model. (1984)
  • TTI was also the first to personalize reports based on 384 different behavioral graphs. (1984)
  • TTI was the first to validate stress as a factor of strong disparity, or difference gap, between Graph I and Graph II. (1984)
  • TTI was the first to validate the insignificance of Graph III in the behavioral model when disparity is significant between Graph I and Graph II. (1984)
  • TTI became the first to validate the absence of a behavior is just as important as the presence, incorporating the absence of behaviors into the computerized behavioral reports. (1984)
  • TTI was the first to research and create computerized reports that meet the needs of specific jobs, for example sales and customer service behavioral reports. (1986)
